Hi Taylor. I'm white and I've seen this type of BS far too many times over the course of my life to be able to stomach it. I was in LA during the riots. I've actually been beside a black man as he was gunned down in Long Beach, police copter overhead. It sickened me then, it sickens me every time, it sickens me now AND it enrages me! If you have access to Twitter, you can look my account up at @tangledscott and see over a dozen posts and protest videos in several cities that I spent the night researching and posting, as well as emailing and contacting other allies of all ethnic heritages and backgrounds. At dinnertime tonight, my (white) wife and I are going to the county courthouse to protest, and as a lifelong demostrator, activist, etc., I'm used to these things, but times have changed and now I no longer know what to expect. The "other" side is batshit crazy and bloodthirsty and we live in Trump country, so there's no way to know if we'll be protesting peacefully or if there will be others there opposing us and ready to rumble, so to speak. Things have changed for lots of people, unless you're a white supremacist or white cop. Seems like things have jumped backward a century for them. I know they haven't, but damn, it's gotten crazier and I keep waiting for a new Stanley Carmichael to emerge and ideally unite the much larger group of people of all colors who are sick and tired and disgusted at this inhumane sickness to do something to stop the damn madness -- permanently! Yeah, I always look at the videos, and I don't scroll on by - I ponder, grieve and rage. -- Scott
